Mean People Suck

I hate mean people! I work retail in a music store, and man, we get some doozies! Just today, I had a woman, one of our lesson students, come out of her lesson and ask if she could pay for her book later because she was "late and needed to catch a flight." Now, I will be the first to admit that I do NOT like this woman. She is snobby and acts like the world was created just so she could traipse around in her Gucci sunglasses and look down on everyone. Anyway, I asked her if she could pay really quickly, as our inventory is always a little squirrely when it comes to books. She gets all huffy and asks WHY she can't leave the store without paying for the book. I said (and I will admit I took a bit of delight from saying this), "Well, that's stealing."

Keep in mind, that she could've paid for the book and been on her way, had she not stopped to argue. It may not sound like much here, but those little shitty things that people do drive me NUTS! Ok, ranting is over for now. On the positive side, the future hubby made dinner, and it's T-46 hours until I'm on vacation! I promise I'll have lots of cool stuff to look at as soon as I figure out how to post pics on this dang thing. Plan to do that while on vacay. Pray for my sanity.

Hello all! It's the start of a new year, and that means new things. I'm not big on making resolutions, but I did set a goal to try new things this year. I have a feeling it's going to be a big year for me. So far this month, I've had my first fluffernutter (a thing of beauty), ate pizza with pineapple on it (it was ok), bought something on ebay (my wedding dress), and started this blog. So far, so good! You'll have to be kind of patient with me. I'm new to blogging, and am what you would call semi-technologically slow. Anywho, after being poked and prodded by a coworker, here I am out in the vast reaches of cyberspace to bug all of you! Bwa ha.
